Program Overview
Adaptive Downhill Skiing for All Abilities
The n.a.s.a. Adaptive Ski Program helps individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities experience the excitement, independence, and confidence that come from skiing.
Through our partnership with Mt. La Crosse and dedicated volunteer instructors, participants are provided specialized adaptive equipment, instruction, and support to enjoy the slopes in a safe and encouraging environment.
Whether it’s your first time on the mountain or you’re returning to a favorite winter activity, we’re here to help make it possible.
In Partnership with Mt. La Crosse
This program is made possible through a long-standing partnership between n.a.s.a. and Mt. La Crosse.
Together, we provide adaptive ski opportunities that allow participants to experience winter recreation alongside family and friends while building confidence and independence.
The support of Mt. La Crosse, our volunteers, and community partners helps keep this experience accessible and affordable for participants.

The smiles at the bottom of the hill often tell the story better than words ever could.
