Program Overview
The Golf Program is committed to fostering inclusion and accessibility in the game of golf for individuals of all abilities. Through partnerships with Coulee Golf and Fox Hollow, our program provides adaptive golf carts to ensure that physically challenged golfers can enjoy the sport from tee to pin. These carts are available at no extra charge, except for greens fees, making golf accessible for those who may have lost mobility but retain their passion for the game.
The Adaptive Golf League is held Sunday afternoons in August and is free for both adaptive golfers and Golf Helpers. Teams consist of three to four participants, including at least one adaptive golfer and two or three helpers. The league emphasizes fun, camaraderie, and community, with door prizes and opportunities for social engagement.
The highlight of our summer calendar is NASA’s Annual Golf Tournament at Fox Hollow in Barre Mills, taking place in July. This event welcomes up to 36 teams for a scramble format, featuring exciting competitions, generous prizes, and fellowship. Fundraising activities such as raffles, skill contests, and sponsored holes support the tournament and adaptive golf initiatives. Sponsorship opportunities are available for select holes, and the event’s proceeds fund program expenses and prizes.
Our program strives to create a welcoming environment for all participants, offering support, adaptive equipment, and community engagement through golf.
